The Investment Council
Put a real portfolio decision through deterministic analytics, scenario stress testing, and a nine-lens deliberation — then keep a durable educational decision record. This is a decision lab, not nine chatbots.
The Council members are simulated reasoning lenses inspired by well-known investors. They are not the real people, not independent experts, and their agreement is not evidence. Educational use only — not individualized investment advice.
Why a council?
Allocation is a debate, not a formula
A single number hides the real question: how should a real person hold their wealth through a 30% drawdown, a decade of sideways markets, or a once-in-a-generation technology shift? No one mind has the answer — but a disciplined deliberation of opposing minds gets closer.
Consensus is a red flag — the council is designed to surface genuine disagreement
Blind rounds and anonymized cross-examination kill conformity bias
Behavioral design is treated as seriously as asset allocation
Educational by design: principles, not personalized advice
The Council
Nine simulated schools of thought
Each lens is a documented investment philosophy used as a reasoning framework. Historical names are inspiration only — not the real people, not endorsement, and not independent expert advice.

How it works
A structured deliberation, not a chat
The council runs a fixed multi-round protocol — the same discipline that keeps real deliberative bodies honest.
Round 1 — Independent analysis
Each simulated lens analyzes the same evidence packet blindly — no consensus, no peer pressure. Identity is not used as authority.
Round 2 — Cross-examination
Anonymized. Arguments are labeled Analyst A/B, not famous names. The protocol surfaces dissent instead of manufacturing agreement.
Round 3 — Crystallization
Each lens states a final position. Real disagreement is preserved — you get a Minority Report, not a false consensus.
The Verdict
Evidence-aware synthesis with kill criteria, unresolved questions, and next steps. Facts stay distinct from philosophy. No prestige weighting.

What a verdict looks like
Every deliberation produces a structured verdict — including the parts the consensus would rather skip.
## Council Verdict
Problem: Aggressive allocation on a 3-year horizon — emergency fund adequate, but short-term goals exposed to equity drawdown.
Synthesis: Neutral and evidence-aware — no historical-person weighting.
Majority characterization: Size the near-term tranche so a severe equity drawdown cannot derail the goal. Rebalance on a schedule, not on headlines.
Kill criteria: Any plan that requires a perfect 3-year market — if the horizon cannot stretch, the allocation must.
Minority report: The tail-risk lens dissents on the equity sleeve entirely — argues a barbell better fits a short, non-stretchable goal.
Unresolved questions: Can the goal date move? Is the income stream stable?
